"The hunt for a stolen ledger full of incrimination leads an underworld fixer and his squeamish protégé to a slippery French banker who, on escaping their clutches, enlists the help of a female student who just happens to be in the right place at the right time."

Designed to work both as a stand-alone short and a proof-of-concept for the full length version, the script for BEGGAR MY NEIGHBOUR was extracted from a feature screenplay I've written. Designed to be tense, funny, romantic, touching and dynamic all at once, the production won the support of ARRIMedia, in the shape of camera and grip equipment, and of post-production house Fantomeline Pictures. Since completion, festivals everywhere from the UK and mainland Europe to the Americas and India have made the film an official selection, and it has enjoyed some fantastic and humbling audience feedback. It is now being developed into a feature.
